St. Matthew's Prayer Pal
On Saturday St. Matthew's UCC will hold its Prayer Pal covered dish luncheon. If you would like to be a part of this fun and meaningful yearlong program, attend for lunch and fellowship and bring a wrapped gift that is red and under $10. It can be anything.
Prayer Pals fill out a form, listing favorites from books, songs, collections, colors, foods, etc. and any prayer concerns. You will pick a name on Saturday and that person becomes your Prayer Pal, anonymously. You are expected to pray for this person for a year. If you choose to surprise your Prayer Pal with anonymous cards, notes, small gifts during the year for special occasions, or just because, to let them know you are praying and thinking of them, those items can be placed in a special Prayer Pal box.
