Family reunion
The 16th annual Schupp/Shupp/Shup and Hawk family reunion will be held July 20 at Don Laine Campground, 790 57 Drive in Palmerton.
Registration begins at 11 a.m. Lunch will be at noon.
Children's games begin at 1 p.m. A business meeting will be held at 2 p.m. with awarding of prizes.
At 3 p.m. there will be a cakewalk, followed by a Chinese auction at 4 p.m.
Food and refreshments will be available in the gift shop or participants may bring their own. There is an enclosed pavilion with picnic tables and outdoor grills. The pool will be open.
Food items needed include fruits and vegetables, as well as pies or cakes for the cakewalk that do not need refrigeration.
The Genealogy of Conrad & Elizabeth (Borger) Hawk 1744-1990 will be available for sale. Atwood James Shupp will be gathering updates on families for future books.
