Men of Marian picnic slated in Hometown
The 44th Annual Men of Marian Summer Picnic will take place this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The three-day picnic/festival will be held on the grounds of Marian Catholic High School in Hometown.
Festivities will begin at 5 p.m. on Friday with music provided by "Kartune."
Friday will be Alumni Night.
Saturday features entertainment from the country band "Crazy Hearts" at 5 p.m., while Sunday sees the return of the ever popular "Remember When" at 4 p.m.
A huge flea market will again be a part of the picnic, offering deals and bargains.
Join the Men of Marian under three huge tents covering the entire picnic grounds to relax in a family atmosphere, meet alumni and friends, and enjoy traditional food, games, prizes and entertainment. This event will go on, rain or shine.
The festivities will conclude with a fireworks display at 9 p.m. Sunday.
All proceeds are used to fund costs associated with the operation of the school.
