May Students of the Month announced

Eight students from Our Lady of the Angels Academy in Lansford were chosen as the Students of the Month for the month of May.
These students were selected for their display of the virtue of prayerfulness during May. The following are quotes from each student.
Kindergarten, Maggie Homyak: "I am respectful during prayer time."
First grade, Emily Stawiarski: "I learned my prayers when I was very little. I say my prayers every day. It is important to pray for everyone. I am happy to be chosen for the virtue of prayerfulness!"
Second grade, Elsie Heckman: "I focus on Jesus as I pray. I am willing to listen and talk to God as a friend."
Fifth grade, Tatianna Zeleniak: "I always offer to read the hardest readings at Mass. I also always start the prayers before school, before and after lunch, and at the end of the day with my class."
Sixth grade, Chad Eschbach: "I am respectful during prayers. I am reverent in church and in prayer. I think that prayer is a big part of our lives."
Seventh grade, Jakub Kantyka: "I always pray to God. I'm proud to be a part of the OLOAA family and I do my best to help the people around me."
Eighth grade, Michael McLaughlin: "I am the eighth grade prayer leader."
Eighth grade, Syngen Lucas: "I was chosen as the Student of the Month because of the deep meaning of prayerfulness I have shown to the school community throughout this past month."
