Franklin Township couple wed 55 years
Mr. and Mrs. Truman Andrews of Franklin Township are observing their 55th wedding anniversary.
They were married on June 27, 1959, at St. Paul's Church in Big Creek by the Rev. Paul Buehrle.
Mrs. Andrews is the former Joy Young, daughter of the late Stella Ahner of Lehighton.
Mr. Andrews is the son of the late Clinton and Marguerite Andrews of Slatington.
He is retired from Bethlehem Steel.
The celebrants have three children: Wendy Bussey-Williams and Marci Warnkin of Lehighton, and Scott Andrews of Lansford.
They have three grandchildren: Alexander Hinkle, Steven Warnkin Jr. and Megan Warnkin, all of Lehighton.
