Minimum wage and our legislators

Why not set our legislators pay at minimum wage and have them fund their pensions with a 401K or IRA plan.

It's time they see what a lot of average Americans have to live on.

We, the people, are their employers and should be setting their pay. They should not be determining salary and pensions.

I, for one, would like to see this question put on the ballot when we vote at the federal and state levels.

Perhaps they would change their tone about the minimum wage issue.
