AARP tax prep
AARP Tax Preparation Services for seniors are available at Salem UCC, located behind the Turkey Hill in Gilbert from 9 a.m. until noon Mondays and Thursdays in the Fellowship Hall. This is a free service and no appointments are needed
Sunday school
Salem UCC is changing its Sunday school program. The goal is to have more children attend classes by changing it to a once a month project based program.
They will now meet the first Sunday of each month for a Bible study, craft, service project, and take home activity.
The next class will be held from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, April 6, and will focus on the Holy Week.
They have two teachers with degrees in early childhood, elementary, and special education to work with your child. Parents are welcome to stay and work with their child.
Hunter Trapper
Education Class
Pennsylvania Game Commission's Hunter Trapper Education Class will be sponsored by Indian Mt. Rod & Gun Club on Route 534 in Kresgeville from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, April 5.
You must register online at pgc.state.pa.us/.
Class size is limited and the minimum age requirement is 11 years old. Certification earned is required by Pennsylvania law for first time hunters.
This is a one-day course with mandatory online studying before class attendance.
