Lenten service
The next shared Lenten service will be on Wednesday, April 2, at Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Trachsville. At 6:30 p.m., Jerusalem will serve soup, you bring your own sandwich. The service will begin at 7:30 p.m. The Rev. Suzanne Brooks-Cope of St. Matthew's UCC will be the guest preacher.
St. Matthew's cemetery
It's time to clean up the cemetery in preparation for mowing season. Please make sure all items are removed from the cemetery grave plots no later than Friday, April 11. The cleanup crew will be cleaning on April 12. All items left will be thrown away.

PVEN needs food
Help stock the shelves at Pleasant Valley Ecumenical Network. They are in need of pastas, rice, corn bread mix, peanut butter, cereal, soup and canned tuna. They'll accept anything. All items may be dropped off at the church during office hours, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and Sundays, 8-11:30 a.m.
Need art
St. Matthew's is holding "How Great Thou Art" this July 19 but needs art work. They are asking artists, woodworkers, potters, jewelry makers, seamstresses, vintners, photographers, designers and crafts people for donations for its Silent Auction. Exercising seniors
There is a low-impact exercise class for those over 55 from 9:30-10:30 a.m., every Tuesday and Thursday at the Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Company.
