Thank you to Lehighton school board

To the Lehighton Area School Board,

I would like to thank the school board for finally making a decision to move forward and stop stalling and no more studies! We did enough of that which cost the district money! In the long run building a new elementary school will save the taxpayers money! Along with moving forward with the All Sport Complex, building a new elementary school maintaining one building will cost less money to maintain. Example: repairing roof over three buildings, heating, ground maintenance. Replacing one roof cost a lot less than three.

All sport complex moving forward all the sports will benefit. It will be used all year round for all the kids! We must look at this as long-term moving forward will save us money.

The key now is to maintain it, and don't wait till it's broke to fix it.

Don't get mad at the school board for your taxes! Call Harrisburg.

It's time for them to help and fix it. We pay their wages!!
