Forest Inn couple wed 50 years
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carter of Forest Inn are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married May 23, 1964, at St. Paul's UCC in Big Creek.
Robert, son of the late Ray and Tess Carter of Forest Inn, is retired from Rencor Corp in New Jersey. Carolyn, a homemaker, is the daughter of the late Ed and Irene Parliman of Franklin Township.
The celebrants have three children: Steve of Palmerton, Scott of Lehighton and Diana, wife of Dwayne Hauser of Franklin Township.
They have seven grandchildren: Aaron, Matthew, Andria, Ashleigh, Amber, Jacob and Megan. They also have three great-granddaughters: Madison, Ryleigh and Brooke.
