Alternative service

St. Matthew's UCC will hold two worship services Sunday. The regular service is at 9 a.m. and The Family Table's alternative service is at noon featuring members of the Cramer Brothers Band. All are welcome.

PVEN needs repairs

The Pleasant Valley Ecumenical Network needs volunteers to help with some needed repairs to the building. They are looking for anyone with carpentry, electrical, plumbing and other skills. They also need volunteers to help with cleaning and organizing. If anyone would like to donate their time, please contact the church office at 610-381-2442 or Randy Cramer.

PVEN toy drive

PVEN is in need of someone with a closed box truck or closed trailer to pick up toys at Tobyhanna Army Depot on Dec. 13 and hold toys until delivery on Dec. 14 to Christ Hamilton Church in Sciota. Call the church office if you are available, 610-381-2442.

Ice hockey

St. Matthew's UCC's youth group would like to get a group of people to attend the Lehigh Valley Phantoms ice hockey game on Nov. 15 in order to get the group rate. If interested in attending, contact the church office at 610-381-2442. The cost of the ticket is $15.50.

Bazaar

Don't forget to drop off donated basket and bake sale items for St. Matthew's UCC's fall bazaar today or early Saturday morning at the Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Company.

Chestnut Ridge Seniors

The Chestnut Ridge Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Company. They will be serving a Thanksgiving meal and there will be turkey raffles.

Exercising seniors

There is a low-impact exercise class for those over 55 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. every Tuesday and Thursday at the Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Company.
