Neighborhood Watch
The next meeting of the Nesquehoning Neighborhood Watch group will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the borough hall.
Recreation Commission
The Nesquehoning Recreation Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the Nesquehoning Recreation Center.
Trick or Treat night
Trick or Treat night in Nesquehoning will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Oct. 30.
Participating residents should leave their front porch light on to let residents know they will be handing out treats.
Lions to meet
The Nesquehoning Lion's Club will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Lengyel's. Sharon Kimmel, the district governor, will present to the club.
All members are invited and encouraged to attend.
Lansford
Blood drive
The Miller-Keystone Center will conduct a blood drive at St. Katherine Drexel Church, 124 E. Abbott St., Lansford from 1 to 6 p.m. Oct. 20.
Participants may walk in or can make an appointment to donate by calling John Karnish at 570-645-3994.
Al-Anon
Al-Anon group will meet at 7:15 p.m. Monday at St. Katherine Drexel Church Hall, 120 E. Abbott St., Lansford.
Al-Anon is a nonprofit world wide support organization helping families and friends of loved ones suffering from addiction.
