Summit Hill

Hydrant flushing

The Summit Hill Water Authority will be flushing hydrants Monday and Tuesday.

You may experience low water pressure and water discoloration during this time. The bororough apologizes for the inconvenience.

Pro-Life rosary

St. Joseph's Church in Summit Hill will sponsor a Pro-Life Rosary at 2 p.m. on Sunday in the Bloomingdale Cemetery on Lentz Trail.

It will feature the Glorious Mysteries and will be held by the altar for the unborn.

Please bring your rosary and a lawn chair.

In case of inclement weather, the rosary will be said at St. Joseph's Church, also at 2 p.m.

Nesquehoning

VFW Ladies Auxiliary

The regular monthly meeting of the Ladies Auxiliary to Nesquehoning Memorial VFW Post 8008 will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Post Home.

President Cheri Santore will preside.

Items on the agenda include the upcoming Veterans Day parade on Nov. 9.

Members are asked to attend so proper planning can be made.

Also note the November meeting has been moved to Nov. 16, because of the parade.
