A special thank you

Dear Editor,

OMG! There are still respectful young people in the world!

We were at the Turkey Hill gas station in Hometown on Sept. 23 and at the pump next to us was a young woman. She noticed I am a Marine and she thanked me for my service, wanting to pay for my gas. I didn't want her to!

Well, she went into the store and came out with a $50 gas card and gave it to me!

We both wanted to cry and thanked her. Thank you, whoever you are, for being so nice.
