Laymen's Fellowship

The Laymen's Fellowship of St. Matthew's UCC will be holding its Annual Bazaar on Nov. 8 at the Kunkletown Firehouse.

They are in need of donations for the basket auction and raffle items and baked goods for the bake sale. Basket donations can be dropped off at the church during office hours, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The baked items should be dropped off at the firehouse Nov. 7 or early Saturday morning, Nov. 8. Trunk or Treat

St. Matthew's UCC CIA will host a free Trunk or Treat event from 3-5 p.m. Saturday for the community's children. In addition to candy, there will be activities such as face painting, crafts, cupcake decorating and more.

If you would like to be a trunk, come to the parking lot with your trunk decorated and candy to hand out. The public will vote for its favorite trunk.

If you would like to donate candy, please drop it off at the church.

Trick or Treat

Eldred Township will observe Trick or Treating from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31.

Mrs. Bush's Personal Care Home invites all Trick or Treaters to visit from 6-7:30 p.m. Oct. 31.

Sunday morning valet service

St. Matthew's UCC wants people to know that if walking a long way to the church from the parking lot is a struggle for you, now you can come to the loading zone to the left of the front door of the church and the ushers for the day will help you into the church and park your car for you. They will retrieve the car for you after the service is over.

Exercising seniors

There is a low-impact exercise class for those over 55 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. every Tuesday and Thursday at the Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Company.
