'Parks and Rec' star to be voice of Grumpy Cat in Lifetime movie
According to tvguide.com, Parks and Recreation star Aubrey Plaza will be the voice of Grumpy Cat in an upcoming Lifetime movie.
In "Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever," written by Tim Hill and Jeff Morris, Grumpy Cat will portray a cat who lives in a pet store and is never chosen for adoption, which explains her crabby disposition.
Plaza, who is known for her monotone portrayal of April Ludgate, is considered to be the purr-fect choice. Jane Lynch (Glee) had been rumored for the part.
"Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever" will premiere on Lifetime at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29.
