Coaldale news
The Coaldale Tax Office will be closed Holy Thursday, April 2, and Good Friday, April 3.
Normal hours will resume Tuesday, April 7, from 10 a.m. to noon, and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Proof of eligibility must be included with a filled out application, to quality when filing for exemption.
The Coaldale Borough Office will also be closed Good Friday, April 3.
Lansford
Trinity Lutheran Church
A Good Friday service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday.
The Easter Sunday communion service will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m..
The Rev. Roy H. Koehler will officiate.
All are welcome to attend these services.
St. John's Holy Week services
St. John the Evangelist Lutheran Church, 1 E. Abbott St., Lansford, will celebrate Holy Week with services at 7 p.m. Thursday, 7 p.m. Good Friday, and Jesus' resurrection on Sunday at 8:45 a.m.
An Easter egg hunt for children will be held following Sunday's Easter Day worship service.
St. John's will also join with St. Paul's, 123 W. White St., Summit Hill, for the Great Vigil of Easter at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Everyone is always welcome at all services.
