Charged with assault
State police at Fern Ridge have charged a Kresgeville man with domestic violence and simple assault after he threw food in a woman's face.
Anthony Pellegrino, 36, went with the woman to Mike's Pizza in West End Plaza at 4:40 p.m. March 26 to pick up a food order.
For reasons not detailed in the police report, he threw the food at her outside the restaurant.
She threw it back at him, and he punched her in the face.
The woman suffered a swollen forehead, bruised eye and a bloody mouth.
