Cited for assault at annual parade

A Columbia County man is facing multiple charges, including aggravated assault, for an incident at the annual St. Patrick's Day parade held in Jim Thorpe on March 15.

Borough police said Timothy L. Bailey, 58, of 850 Iron St., Bloomsburg, has been charged with three counts of aggravated assault and one count each of terroristic threats, obstructing the administration of law or other government function, persistent disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, and disorderly conduct.

Bailey was arraigned on the charges and committed to the county prison in Nesquehoning after failing to post 10 percent of $75,000. He has since posted bail.
