Man faces DUI charges

A traffic stop in McAdoo on March 28 resulted in charges being filed against a Drums man.

Officers stopped a vehicle at 1:51 a.m. that day after noticing the car had a nonworking headlight and heavy window tint. The driver was identified as Francis Carr III, 26, who appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance. He was given, and failed, field sobriety tests. Carr refused to submit to a blood test.

He was charged with driving under the influence and two traffic offenses.
