Loud music call eads to arrest
When Pocono Mountain Regional Police responded to a loud music complaint at 11:17 p.m. Wednesday at 355 Echo Lake Road, Tobyhanna, the call resulted in the arrest of the home's occupant on robbery and burglary charges.
Police said Malik Jackson, 36, was arrested without incident and transported to the Monroe County Correctional Facility, Snydersville, pending his arraignment as a fugitive from justice.
Police said after responding to a complaint about loud music, they made contact with the occupants of a vehicle. A warrant check revealed Jackson is wanted by police from the City of Poughkeepsie, New York, on two counts of robbery and one count of burglary, both with an alleged weapon involved.
He was charged locally with arrest as a fugitive from justice.
