Man threatens to shoot another man

Jim Thorpe police have arrested Mark Allen Solt, 45, of 1277 Mauch Chunk Road, Palmerton, on two harassment charges (one misdemeanor and one summary) after an incident on Jan. 29.

Police said it is alleged Solt threatened over the telephone to shoot another man.

Police said the charges were filed after they were unsuccessful with making contact with the defendant.
