Traffic stop leads to arrest

A Hazleton man was arrested in McAdoo on Sunday morning after a traffic stop.

Officers stopped a vehicle with a loud exhaust at 4 a.m. The driver, Cesarin Martinez, 24, of Hazleton, didn't have a valid driver's license. What he did have was a warrant for his arrest, issued by authorities in Luzerne County in connection with a theft.

He was taken to the Schuylkill County Prison in Pottsville on the warrant and will also receive a citation for driving with a suspended license.
