Tire slashing, car damage investigated

State police at Lehighton reported on two criminal mischief incidents being investigated by troopers.

Troopers said someone used a 3-inch knife to cut a hole in the tread of the right rear tire of a marked state game commission vehicle. The incident occurred at 120 Little Gap Road, in Palmerton, Lower Towamensing Township, sometime between Tuesday at 5 p.m. and Wednesday at 7:30 a.m.

Shannon Ramos, of the Feather Ridge apartments, in Ross Township, Monroe County reported someone damaged her parked vehicle by putting scratch marks on it while parked in a lot at the apartment complex. The incident occurred sometime between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. on Wednesday.

Anyone with information concerning either incident is asked to call troopers at 610-681-1850.
