Man cited for failing to return car

A McAdoo man was charged after he failed to return his mother's 2003 Subaru Outback.

Tyler Mojica, of 405 E. Grant St., was given permission to use the vehicle to go to work. When he didn't return it by April 2, his mother contacted police, saying she wanted to press charges.

Initial efforts to contact Mojica were unsuccessful but he later texted police and said he was in Kingston and that the car had run out of gas.

He was cited for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
