Woman to be charged with harassment

A Schuylkill County woman will be charged with harassment for an incident that occurred Sunday.

Frackville State Police said that at noon, police were called to 682 Sunbury Road in Cass Township for the report of an altercation between Ashley Nicole Trate, 23, of Minersville, and a 15-year-old male from Pottsville.

Further investigation revealed that Trate got into a verbal argument with the victim inside the home.

At some point, the argument turned physical, with Trate punching the victim with a closed fist in and about the head and neck area, leaving red marks and bruising.

Harassment charges will be filed.
