The old school has great history, and former students, faculty and administrators are expected to be on hand to help celebrate the event. Vendors and political candidates will be on hand to share products and information. The YMCA, currently housed in the building, will also be open for a tour that day. Anyone interested in a table is asked to contact Darcy Gannon at d.gannon@eldredtwp.org or 610-381-4252, ext. 2, for more information.

Carey Krum, who is Eldred's building manager and also the music room coordinator, has offered free acoustical music lessons on most stringed instruments to township residents. There will be a sign-up sheet at the open house for those who are interested in free lessons. Times and dates to be assigned.

Currently, Krum supervises a jam session each Monday at noon at the music room in the Community Center. Visitors are invited to attend and listen or participate.
