Police identify driver

Rush Township Police have identified the driver involved in a July 21 hit and run accident on Claremont Avenue as Justine Simon, 39, of Nesquehoning.

The accident occurred at 4:06 p.m. when a 1998 Jeep Cherokee, traveling south, struck a Ford Econoline van. The van was also headed south. Simon left the scene but later admitted to hitting the van.

She faces charges of hit and run of an attended vehicle as well as other charges.
