Two facing various drug charges

Palmerton police reported the arrest of two borough residents on various drug-related charges.

Police said Gregory Seip, 44, and Maria McKittrick, 50, were arrested as the result of an incident at 8:30 p.m. on July 20 in the 900 block of Mauch Chunk Road.

The two have been charged with risking or causing a catastrophe, possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, liquified ammonia gas: precursors and chemicals, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, operating a methamphetamine lab, and illegal dumping of methamphetamine waste. They were also charged with two counts of criminal conspiracy.
