Three cited for thefts in Rush
Rush Township police are looking to file charges against several people for recent retail theft incidents.
Michael Hooper, 26, of Zion Grove, Daniel Schwartz, 27, of McAdoo, and Joyce Schwartz, 53, of McAdoo are all facing charges related to a July 26 theft at the HT Commons Wal-Mart.
Hooper and Daniel Schwartz took video games from the retail store, valued at $187.73 at 5:56 p.m. Joyce Schwartz then took the items to the Game Stop store in Hometown, where she attempted to sell them.
Gregory Crowell, 30, of Tamaqua, is facing charges after he took merchandise valued at $62.40 from Wal-Mart. The theft took place at 2:13 p.m. on Aug. 1.
