A Weatherly man has been charged with bringing illegal substances into the county prison.

On Monday Nesquehoning officer Timothy Wuttke was called to the county prison by prison personnel. Wuttke was told at the prison that Kori Errichetto, 22, of 1001 North St., Weatherly, had reported to the prison to begin a prison term.

Wuttke was told during the intake portion of Errichetto's entering the prison suspected marijuana and a pill were found in his wallet.

Wuttke interviewed Errichetto who agreed to speak to the him.

Errichetto told Wuttke that he was scheduled to turn himself into the prison and was out "partying."

He said he had forgotten that he had the marijuana and the white pill, which he said was coloazepam, which he did not have a prescription for, in his wallet.

Errichetto did not wish to make a written statement. The pill was identified as coloazepam.

As a result Wuttke charged Errichetto with one count each of contraband, contraband-possession of a controlled substance, both felony twos, and possession of a controlled substance, an ungraded misdemeanor.
