Hit-and-run incidents in Mahoning

Mahoning Township police reported investigating a hit-and-run incident.

Police said on July 14, at 2:45 p.m. a resident of Slatington reported their 2014 Kia had been hit while they were shopping at the Gamestop store in the Carbon Plaza Mall.

In another incident, police say that at 12:09 p.m. July 31, a 1996 Nissan Maxima was hit/damaged in the parking lot of the PA driver's license center by a blue Jeep Liberty or Patriot driven by a female.

The female did not stop.
