Scranton driver facing DUI count
A Scranton driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following an incident that occurred at 8:56 p.m. on July 31.
State police at Fern Ridge said Edward Buchholz entered a checkpoint operation at the intersection of Route 115 and Water Street, in Tobyhanna Township, Monroe County. He showed signs of impairment. He failed field sobriety tests and was given a PBT test.
He was taken into custody and charged.
