Two-car crash in Carbon

State police at Hazleton reported investigating a two-vehicle, rear-end crash along South Lehigh Gorge Road at the intersection with South Stagecoach Road, in Lehigh Township, Carbon County. Troopers said the crash occurred at7:46 p.m. on Monday.

Troopers said Becky L. Kite, 21, of Drums, Luzerne County, was driving a 2003 Ford Taurus southbound and slowing down to make a left turn onto South Stagecoach Road when her vehicle was struck in the rear by a 1996 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Bobbie L. Miller, 43, of Weatherly.

Kite, her passenger, Sabrina Carey, 19, of Weatherly, and Miller, were all not injured. Damages were termed moderate to the two vehicles.

Troopers cited Miller for following too closely.
