Schuylkill crash

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a two-vehicle crash at 4:20 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Peach Mountain and Wade roads in New Philadelphia borough.

Troopers said Norman C. Tropp, 44, of Pottsville, was driving a 2012 Ford Focus southbound on Peach Mountain Road and attempting a left turn onto Wade Road when his vehicle struck the front of a 2002 Kia Spectra driven by Jude Griffin, 31, of Minersville, who was stopped for a stop sign on Wade Road.

There were no injuries. Troopers said Tropp was cited for the crash.
