Man charged with assault

A Monroe County man has been charged with simple assault and harassment as the result of a domestic incident.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said on Aug. 17 a woman who lived on Tamarack Drive in Pocono Summit, came to police headquarters and reported her boyfriend, Timothy Milner, 28, of that address, grabbed her around the waist and neck, then punched her in the face. The incident happened on Aug. 15 around 6 p.m. She said Milner was upset with her for being with her sister all day.

Police took Milner into custody without incident at his place of employment. He was placed in the county prison in Snydersville pending arraignment.
