Monroe man jailed on warrants

A Monroe County man was jailed on Aug. 16 on two active warrants.

Pocono Mountain Regional police were dispatched to 3188 Hamlet Drive, Tobyhanna, for a report of a man who was out-of-control. On scene the officers were met by the caller and Karl Brown, 54, of that address.

A check revealed Brown had two active warrants for his arrest. One was for driving under the influence issued to the Pocono regional police and the second to the county sheriff's office for failure to appear.

Brown was arrested and placed in the county prison in Snydersville on the warrants.
