Bowmanstown man faces DUI

Levi Adam Serfass, 22, of Bowmanstown, is facing charges of driving under the influence as a result of a one-vehicle crash that happened at 1:50 a.m. Friday on Fireline Road in Lower Towamensing Township.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said he flipped over his 2008 Jeep, which came to rest on its roof when the crash occurred in the area of Golf Road. He was uninjured.

Police said he was traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the Jeep. It traveled across the oncoming traffic lane and veered off the side of the roadway before flipping over.
