Palmerton woman injured in crash

State police at the Lehighton barracks said Kayla V. Driscoll, 20, of Palmerton, suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 8:42 p.m. Aug. 20 on Forest Inn Road in Lower Towamensing Township.

Police said she was transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital by the Palmerton EMS.

Police said she was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Malibu southbound and was negotiating a right curve in the roadway when the car traveled off the roadway and struck a utility pole. The car sustained minor passenger side fender damages.
