Mr. and Mrs. Plair Koch

Mr. and Mrs. Plair Koch of Lehighton, recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. They were married on Aug. 26, 1950, at the Grace Lutheran Church in Lehighton, with the Rev. Herr officiating their ceremony.

Mrs. Koch is the former Carolyn LaRose. She is the daughter of Morris and Grace (Frable) LaRose.

Mr. Koch is the son of Harry and Mary (Beidleman) Highland.

The couple have five daughters: Roxanne Koch of Lancaster; Claire Everett, wife of Richard, of Harrisburg; Deborah Fagan, wife of Patrick, of Lancaster; Brenda Artz, wife of Roy, of Lehighton; and Barbara Shupp of Lehighton.

They also have 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson, who is deceased.
