Marguerite "Peggy" and Paul Beddiges of Lehighton recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. They were married on Aug. 17, 1985. The wedding was officiated by the Rev. Robert Dressler at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Lansford.
Peggy is the daughter of Marie Breslin Owens of Lansford and the late Francis "Spike" Owens, formerly of Upper Mauch Chunk and Lansford.
Her husband is the son of Ann Savoye Beddiges, formerly of Hackensack, New Jersey, now of Allentown, and the late Donald August Beddiges of Jersey City, New Jersey.
They have two children, Zack and Christi.
They plan to celebrate by returning to where they first met in the Poconos.
