Lehighton couple wed 60 years

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur C. Fritz celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in September.

They were married Sept. 16, 1955, at the Lutheran church in Nesquehoning by the Rev. Lukens.

Mrs. Fritz is the former Dorothy A. Haas, daughter of the late Walter and Beatrice Haas of Andreas. Her husband is the son of the late Harold and Esther Fritz, also of Andreas.

They have five children: David A. and his wife, Suzanne, of Lehighton; Keith A. and his wife, Bonnie, of Lehighton; Lisa K., wife of Todd R. Hawk of Lehighton; Anita L. Fritz of Lehighton; and Susan D. Zelinsky of Staten Island, New York.

They have eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The couple celebrated the occasion with a party.
