Nesquehoning couple wed 50 years
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Sherry of Nesquehoning will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 11.
They were married Dec. 11, 1965, in St. John's Lutheran Church, Tamaqua, by the Rev. Charles Mathias.
Mrs. Sherry is the former Betty Becker, daughter of the late Charles and Mae Becker of Tamaqua.
Mr. Sherry is the son of the late Paul and Mary Sherry of Tamaqua.
The couple has two children, John and Karen. They have three grandchildren.
