Several charged with thefts at Walmart
Rush Township police have reported the following incidents at the HT Commons Walmart in Hometown:
• Barry Cox, 56, of Hometown will be cited for retail theft. He reportedly took merchandise valued at $3.48 from the store on Nov. 21.
• Thomas Kehl, 25, of Mahanoy City, will be cited for retail theft and receiving stolen property for an incident Nov. 5, involving merchandise valued at $145.84.
• Anthony Powell, 45, of McAdoo is facing retail theft charges after police identified him as the person who took merchandise valued at $49.97 from the store on Nov. 12.
• Justin Vereen, 21, of Tamaqua, took merchandise valued at $38.88 on Nov. 30.
