Tuscarora man jailed for theft
A Tuscarora man spent some time in the county prison last week after an incident that started at the HT Commons Walmart on Dec. 3.
Rush Township police were called to the store at 1:25 p.m. in connection with the theft of merchandise valued at $128. After reviewing security footage, they identified the thief as Jason Dahm, 37.
A short time later, Dahm was spotted in the parking lot at the Tamaqua Burger King and was arrested.
He was arraigned before District Judge Stephen Bayer in Tamaqua on charges of retail theft and receiving stolen property. Unable to post the imposed bail, he was taken to the Schuylkill County prison.
