Nesquehoning police issue three citations

Three traffic citations were issued by Nesquehoning police earlier this month.

Police said one person was cited Dec. 5 for a red light violation at the intersection of Catawissa and Mermon streets.

Two drivers were ticketed for speeding on Route 93. One was clocked at 79 mph on Dec. 11 and the other was recorded at 77 mph on Dec. 12. The moving violations took place in a 55 mph zone, police said.
