Jim Thorpe man facing drug charges

Jermaine Matthew Gonzalez, 22, of 105 Center Ave., Jim Thorpe, have announced details of an arrest by borough police for possession of a controlled substance.

Police said the arrest stems from an incident on Aug. 21 when they were called to assist the Franklin Township Police Department in serving an arrest warrant on Gonzalez in the 300 block of South Avenue. Police said he was in possession of 25 bags of heroin and seven Suboxone film strips.
