Three are charged after altercation

Three people were charged after state police at the Frackville barracks were summoned to investigate an aggravated assault incident at 6:42 p.m. Thursday. The location of the incident was not revealed by police.

Police said during a domestic argument, a scuffle broke out during which time Marissa Beane, 20, of Zion Grove, reported being struck multiple times by David Grady, 56, also of Zion Grove. Grady said he was struck several times by Beane and was also struck with a baseball bat by Christopher Ruffino, 21, of Effort.

Police charged Grady with simple assault, Beane with harassment/assault and underage drinking, and Ruffino with aggravated assault.
