Food pantry

Summit Hill Food Pantry distribution dates for 2015 are:

Tuesdays: Feb. 24, Mar. 31, April 28, May 26, June 23, July 28, Aug. 25, Sept. 22, Oct. 27; and Mondays: Nov. 23, Dec. 21.

The food pantry is located in the Summit Hill Heritage Center on Hazard and Chestnut streets.

Distribution will take place between 10-11:30 a.m.

There is to be no parking in the alley before 9:45 a.m. and absolutely no parking in the vacant lot.

Recipients are reminded to bring along extra strong shopping/tote bags.

Recipients are asked to please cut out and save this notice for the year.

Al-Anon meetings

The Al-Anon group meets at 7:15 p.m. Mondays at St. Katharine Drexel Church Hall, 120 E. Abbott St., Lansford.

Al-Anon is a nonprofit, worldwide support organization helping families and friends of loved ones suffering from addiction.
