Water authority vacancy seat

Dear Editor,

This is in regards to the vacant seat on the Lansford-Coaldale Joint Water Authority. I would like to know how come Lansford Borough has three members on the board. I could see having three members on the board when the borough had a population of 10,000 people at one time. Now the population of Lansford is under 5,000.

I would also like to know why there isn't a woman on the board? I would also like to know why the village of Hauto or the Lake Hauto Club does not have a representative on the board? They are also customers of the Lansford-Coaldale Joint Water Authority.
